1. Find your device identifier
iOPlayer does not use accounts, e-mail addresses or passwords, so a request has to name the device it applies to.
- Open the iOPlayer app on your Android device or TV.
- Go to Settings.
- Note the Mac Address (for example 00:1A:79:12:34:5C) and the 6-digit Device Key.
Either value is enough to identify your record. If the app will not open, e-mail us and describe the device instead.
2. Send the deletion request
Use whichever route is easier. Both reach the same support queue.
- From the website: open www.ioplayer.pro, press Help in the top menu, enter your Mac Address and Device Key, and write "Please delete my data" in the message.
- By e-mail: write to dev.ioplayer.pro@gmail.com with the subject Delete my iOPlayer data and include your Mac Address or Device Key.
You do not need to be activated or to have a paid licence to send a deletion request.
3. What we delete
On a confirmed request the following records for that device are erased from the iOPlayer portal:
- The device profile: device identifier, Device Key, device name, model and app version.
- All saved playlists, including names, URLs, Xtream usernames and passwords, and uploaded M3U files.
- Favourites, watch progress and other playback preferences stored on the portal.
- Support messages and any diagnostic or debug records linked to the device.
- Activation and trial records, unless we are required to keep them under section 4.
Deleting the app from your device also removes everything iOPlayer stored locally on that device.
5. How long it takes
Requests are handled by a person, normally within a few days and in any case within 30 days of receipt. We reply to the same channel you used. If a request cannot be matched to a device we will ask you for the Mac Address or Device Key before deleting anything, so that one user cannot erase another user's data.
